The challenge for this week is who can eat the fewest servings of sweets. For this weekly challenge, sweets will include cookies, cakes, etc, but also any added syrups, sugars, etc. So, any drink that is sweetened with sugar counts as a sweet. This includes coffee drinks, raspberry iced tea, alcoholic beverages with a sugar base, etc. Artificial sweeteners(calorie-free) do not count as a sweet. Please post questions if you have any. Good luck this week!!!! :)
I am afraid I don't know what an alcoholic beverage with a sugar base would be. I know not beer, but what about wine? Or is it flavored drinks?
I think sugar based alcoholic drink would be any fruity cocktail that was made with juice that isn't 100% juice (ie: pina colada), drinks mixed with soda (ie: Captain and coke), or wine coolers and things of that nature. I'm obviously not the authority on this, but maybe that will help!
Yes, a sugar based alcoholic drink does NOT include beer and wine, but anything that has sugar used in the mix, like alcohols mixed with soda, margaritas and other fruity drinks, etc. Good question!
