Welcome to Nutrition Challenge 2007! This is a fun, interactive 10 week challenge designed by Registered Dietitians to help you improve your eating and exercise habits with a group of people!!! There will be weekly challenges and games to keep the competition interesting!

The challenge for this week will be who can exercise the most minutes. The winner of the challenge will also have to do strength training at least 3 days this week and at least 30 minutes of cardio everyday.
Strength training can be lifting weights at your gym, or if you don't have a gym membership, you can always do lunges, pushups, situps, squats, etc on your own. You can use canned goods as your weights if you want to do arm exercises as well. Check out the link below for more information on strength training, and for additional exercises you can do at home.

Also, if you do not normally strength train, do not lift heavy weights or do anything that could cause injury. Start with just lifting your own body weight, or very light weights.
